Pension

You can be paid your UK Retirement Pension (with an extra amount if you are 80 or more), or widow‘s benefits directly into your bank in Spain or any other account at home or abroad. You will get the same as you would get in the UK. Payment is made every four or 13 weeks in arrears. Health

The health care available to you in Spain is exactly the same as the health care given to people who are insured there. If you are going to live there, you will need to obtain a form E121, from the UK Benefits Agency, telephone number 0191 218 7777. When just visiting Spain, you should carry a form E111 for urgent medical cover.
